Meet the New Owner of our Laundromat

Hi my name is Ohlashia Cowley and I am the proud new Owner of George’s Kwik Wash. I am originally from Texas, but grew up in Birch Run, Michigan. I moved to Fort Wayne Indiana in 2015 and fell in love with this amazing city. I attended Central Michigan University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Therapeutic Recreation. I currently work for Ferraro Behavior Services as a Recreation Therapist helping individuals with developmental disabilities. Growing up I would go to laundromats all the time with my mom. It was always such a fun place to be. Being able to meet new people and hear everyone’s stories was always something to look forward too. I am very excited to be able to change the face of this laundromat because it’s a much needed resource in the community. 

At our laundromat, you’ll find more than just machines that get your clothes clean. You’ll also find a welcoming atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy your time.
